The Problem
The existing presence was holding the company back:
- Early-Stage Look: An inconsistent visual identity that didn't match the seriousness of the partners they were pitching.
- Unclear Story: The site didn't explain what Raccodynamx does, who it's for, or why they're the right choice.
- Fragile Foundations: Domain, SSL and email configuration issues made the site and company email unreliable.
The Goal
The main objective was to give Raccodynamx a brand and website that look as credible as the technology behind them.
- Build a Cohesive Identity: Create a brand system that feels technical, trustworthy and forward-looking.
- Tell a Clear Story: Design a site that walks partners and customers from "what is this?" to "let's talk."
- Launch Something Solid: Deliver a fast, modern site with working domain, SSL, forms and support chat.
- Enable Independence: Leave the team with tools and guides they can manage without a developer.
My Design & Development Process
Brand Identity
I presented two scoped options, brand only or a full brand and website package, and the client chose the full package. The identity system includes a logo, color palette, typography, and iconography, designed to sit comfortably next to utility and industry partners without losing its startup energy.

Website Design & Build
I designed the site in Figma around a clear narrative: what Raccodynamx does, who it serves, why it's credible, and how to get in touch, with an ecosystem section that builds trust at a glance. I then built it in Astro and Tailwind straight from the Figma file, keeping it fast, lightweight and easy to update.

Technical Challenge: Making It All Actually Work
- The Task: The domain, SSL certificate and company email were spread across IONOS, Microsoft 365 and Netlify, and not playing nicely together.
- The Result: I untangled the DNS and SSL configuration across all three platforms, set up Formspree for contact forms and Botpress Desk for customer support chat, and wrote onboarding guides so the team could run both on their own.
Final Results & Reflection
This project reminded me that for a startup, design isn't finished when the Figma file is. Credibility lives in the details: the secure padlock in the browser, the contact form that actually sends, the support chat that answers.
- Owning the Full Journey: Going from brand proposal to DNS records meant nothing fell through the cracks between "designer" and "developer."
- Designing for Trust: Working in the energy space pushed me to balance startup personality with the seriousness partners expect.
- Handoff as a Deliverable: Writing guides for forms and support chat turned out to be just as valuable to the client as the site itself.
