Louise Lee Website
A thoughtful web redesign for a life coach consultant from Vancouver.
Overview
I worked with Louise Lee, a life and leadership coach based in Vancouver, to redesign a website that felt cluttered and outdated. The original site did not reflect the heart of her work, so we restructured everything from the ground up to match her career path. I designed the entire experience in Figma and built it in Webflow, adding soft interactions and earthy tones. The result is a professional and organized website that is easy to navigate and truly reflects the high quality of her coaching services.

The Problem
The original website was a major obstacle for Louise’s growth. Instead of helping her connect with clients, the experience was a bit overwhelming:
- Information Overload: Everything was on one very long landing page. It was hard for visitors to follow her story or find specific services.
- Visual Friction: There was no "room to breathe." The layout was tight and cluttered, which made the brand feel less professional.
- Technical Limits: The site was static and didn't connect to the tools she needed to grow her community.
The Strategic Goal
The objective was to move away from the "one-page" layout and build a professional website that Louise could fully control:
- Restructure the Content: Break the long page into 12 separate, clean pages so the information has a better flow.
- Modernize the UI: Build a custom design system in Figma using soft, professional colors that build trust immediately.
- Technical Independence: Move the site to Webflow to ensure high performance and easy marketing integrations.
My Design & Development Process
1. Information Architecture Design in Figma (Flow)
We started by organizing all her content. I turned the bussy landing page into a clear map of 12 custom pages on Figma . This gives every part of her work—like her services and "success stories" its own space to shine.
2. Design in Figma
I built the design system in Figma. We chose soft purples and earthy tones because they look professional and trustworthy. I focused on adding a lot of white space so the website feels light and accessible.
I established a sophisticated hierarchy by pairing Fraunces,an elegant serif for headlines, with Poppins, a clean, geometric sans-serif for body text to guarantee readability across all devices.
3. Webflow Build & CMS Automation
I translated the designs into a responsive Webflow build. To make the site easy for Louise to manage, I used the Webflow Content Management System (CMS):
- Automated Logos: I created a CMS collection for her client logos. Now, she can add or remove partner logos in seconds without touching the design.
- Dynamic Testimonials: I built a CSS collection as well for her success stories. This allows new testimonials to appear automatically across different pages of the website, keeping the content fresh.
4. Marketing Integrations
I connected ConvertKit to her website so Louise can grow her audience and implement her contact and sales forms. I also set up GA4 and Google Search Console so she can measure her success and see how many people are visiting her new website
Client Testimonial
“Ana Maria redesigned my business website. Working with her from start to finish, she helped with font choices and colour palette, created the mock-ups in Figma so that I could give feedback, and then built the pages using WebFlow. She was also able to add in integrations with platforms such as ConvertKit. She then helped me launch the site and get it set up with GA4 and Google Search Console. Ana Maria's designs are wonderful and communication with her was very smooth. We met regularly throughout the process and she was always professional. I would recommend Ana Maria!”
